Greg Monterrosa

My passions lie in two distinct areas: tacos and startups.

I am the Community Manager and one of the founders of Hub101, a startup collaborative work space located in Westlake Village, California with a mission of encouraging businesses to “create, launch, grow.”

As a Startup Weekend global mentor and organizer, I was able to interact with and learn from the innovative minds behind startups worldwide.

In 2011, the Pacific Coast Business Times selected me as one of the top 40 up-and-coming business leaders in the tri-county area.

In 2015, I mentored over 100 different startups in France and London.

In 2016, I received a 40 Under 40 award from the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce as well as Congressional recognition of my efforts in supporting the local startup community.

In 2017, I joined the City of Thousand Oaks Business Roundtable.

I am also a speaker and Cofounder of one of the nation’s leading business formations company, MyLLC.com.

Alon Goren

Alon is the Co-Founder of Crowd Invest Summit and 805 Startups. A pioneer in the crowdfunding space, Alon had been involved in over $200 Million Dollars in online investment transactions. He has developed technology that powers websites and financial transactions for Fortune 500 companies and well-known foundations such as Coca-Cola, ATB Financial and Global Philanthropy Group. He also created a white label fundraising portal for individuals and businesses hoping to crowdfund ventures independently of major platforms. His support of the JOBS Act and day-to-day interactions with investors and financial professionals inspired him to create a solution for marketers hoping to attract investment firms and hedge fund managers.

Before launching InvestedIn, Alon worked for entertainment tech giants such as IMDb and MySpace where he managed product development, testing and performance. InvestedIn was named “Best Marketplace Platform” by the Los Angeles Venture Association in 2013 and he was named to the Socaltech 50 for his work with InvestedIn. Alon is a thought leader on social enterprise and crowdfunding, and has spoken at SXSW V2V, Kingonomics and many other conferences and been featured in prominent publications including Forbes and VentureBeat.
